Funkosis has a multitude of influences that span the full spectrum of genres, including the soul melodies of Aretha Franklin, funked up James Brown, motown harmonies from Stevie Wonder & Al Green, blues of BB King, rock rhythms from the likes of the Rolling Stones and aussie legends Hunters & Collectors , pop beats of Lloyd Cole & the Commotions and the country verse and stories of Johnny Cash. There's even space for the guitar riffs of Dick Dale, swingin' beats of Ella Fitzgerald & Glen Miller ...... and the list goes on.
Funkosis holds the old school styles of early electronica & house from Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, New Order, Herbie Hancock, , Level 42, C&C Music Factory and Australia's own Pseudo Echo in high esteem.
Others are Happy Mondays, Stereo MCs, Moloko, St Germain, Air, Leftfield and many current chart toppers including Trentemoller, Deadmau5, Digitalism, Dirty South, fRew, etc, etc.
