Kim you have one of the nicest voices I have heard sense Bonnie Raitt. I love all your songs! Any one of them could be a number one hit. I am really glad I discovered you and this website.

If you are a wimp, you'll feel out of place in an audience with Kim Young's powerful voice bursting out her original songs. Laughter, tears, sighs, astonishment, knowing grins are the manifestations among those hearing her.
Kim was born in mid coast Maine, USA. She's been singing since she could speak, wordsmithing since she could write. The lyrics transport listeners through loves lost and found and the lessons along the way to somewhere else.
She was chosen as a songwriting finalist at the Tucson Folk Festival in Arizona and one of her songs, "The Wanting Game" won song of the year through the Downeast Country Music Association in her home state of Maine. Her songs easily adapt to a number of genres including alternative folk, country, acoustic, blues, a little jazz and the occasional spiritual thrown in for color. The list goes on.
Her ability to connect with the audience prompted one fan to write, "I have heard her CD's and she is even better in person!" Once you hear you you will not forget her.
