North Queensland, Australia, based Keyboard Composer. Southern Irish / Welsh racial background. All tracks uploaded here are live, spur of the moment, solo improvisations. After abandoning private music performance. even just as a hobby. for a considerable period of time, and feeling "somethings missing" because of that decision I decided to reactivate some of my favourite compositions in various internet play and tell situations to try and rekindle in myself the spirit that created them in the first place [and if any passerby listeners get enjoyment from the material, well that's a worthwhile side benefit]. I also have a number of epic song cycles that were shelved at a late stage of developement for various reasons so another motive for busking here is to muster the will in myself to get those works completed and whatever happens after that........who knows? Maybe some studio recordings! [what's an overdub? what's a mixer? what's a retake?]

[A] STORM OF THE HEART is a soundtrack where three music themes reappear throughout the work in different arrangement situations like characters in the plot of a movie.

[B] SANCTUARY In mythology a "shepherd" usually symbolises an organising energy,"home" is the place of origin, Shepherds "break...[their] fast" when the night shift is over.....

According to the book "Origin of the Zodiac" by Rupert Gleadow [Courier Dover Publications] p42 "a pretty maid" representes Astraea the goddess or heavenly power of Justice who dwelt on Earth in the Golden Age..[well at least one can't be stopped, permanently, from dreaming of such things...].

[C] DANCE MUSIC The last three tracks [In Step, Over and Out , All One Race Epiphany]are roughly based on my imaging of the long dance sequence in Arthur C Clarke's scifi novel "Childhoods End".
